Injury Prevention Training

We recognize the importance of addressing poor mechanics and functional weaknesses in players that may make them a higher risk for injury. We coach Injury Prevention Sessions for small groups and teams to identify players with high injury risk and instruct players on proper mechanics for jumping, landing and cutting to minimize knee injuries and non-contact ACL injuries.

Return to Sport Training

We are passionate about getting our athletes back on the field at 100%. Traditional physical therapy models only allow the patient to get 50-75% better and then discharge them; without ever having touched a ball or field. We recognize the disservice of this model and understand the importance of the physical and mental aspects of returning to the field with strength and confidence. We progress with our patients from the clinic to the field. We do individualized sessions to work on footwork, first touch, skill work and decision making to allow players to return to their team practices and games at the level they were prior to injury. This ensures the player has the strength and confidence to return at 100% to minimize the risk of re-injury and fear of return to playing.

Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf Screening

is a sixteen point movement screen to help identify movement limitations in the body that may be affecting a golfers swing. Understanding the Body-Swing Connection helps us identify physical limitations that may be hindering form or creating pain while golfing. TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on the players physical abilities.
